SMS 120
The Standard Module System (SMS) 120 series is available in standard lengths of 200 mm to 1200 mm, and can also be produced in customized lengths up to 6000 mm. The table in the bottom of the page provides properties for the standard lengths. UniGripper can also offer a wide range of options like Floating Attachments / Compliants, Robot-adapters, Frame-systems etc.
We will also be happy to help you with any special design you need for your project. To learn more of the options, check out the Accessories page. For each length, three valve-pitch configurations/foam designs are available to suit different product sizes, see the figure to the right.
Up to lengths of 1200mm, the UniGripper SMS can be equipped with a pneumatic vacuum generator as well as reverse blow cylinders for quick release. For lengths above 1200 an elerctric vacuum pump is needed to generate vacuum. For the shortest lengths, the pneumatic vacuum generator needs to be externally mounted, whereas on longer lengths the vacuum generator is mounted internally on the SMS.
Details for the standard lengths can be found in the table below. The table includes links to STEP files to allow easy insertion into drawings of your automation project. When appplicable, the drawing can either show an SMS with ejector and reverse blow cylinders (the 
icon) or a plain SMS without ejector and reverse blow cylinders (the 
icon).
